Deleting Patterns

Patterns cannot be deleted if they are associated with a channel. You must remove all associations before deleting the pattern.

To delete a pattern:

1. From the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, go to the partition space.

2. In the Navigation menu, browse to Security > Data Masking > Patterns.

3. On the List page, under the Actions column, click the Options  button.

4. From the dropdown menu, select the Delete option. 

   This option is only visible for patterns that are inactive. 

5. A message appears asking to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the pattern.
