Testing your AI Agent

The Test AI Agent feature allows you to validate how well the agent understands and responds to queries based on the topics derived from your connected content sources. These topics and subtopics are automatically generated and define the knowledge scope of your AI Agent. You cannot edit or remove them, but they provide the foundation for how the agent interprets and responds to user questions.

Testing can be carried out in two ways:

  1. Integrated Mode – Test how the AI Agent performs in your preferred customer service channels. using sample transcripts.

  2. Standalone Mode – Evaluate the AI Agent independently to review its topic coverage, accuracy, and response quality.

To test AI Agents for an Integrated setup:

  1. In the Test your AI Agent step, select the Integrated tab.

  2. Under the Test Transcript section, type a transcript mimicking an agent's conversation with a customer.

  3. Click the Submit to AI Agent button.

  4. From the transcript, the AI Agent identifies the Question that the customer is asking. Click the Send button to allow the AI Agent to analyze your message.

  5. The AI Agent then replies with an answer for the question asked. 

  6. You can type queries and interact with the AI Agent to evaluate its efficiency and ensure that it correctly applies the configured settings and data sources.

  7. You can also upload more sources by clicking the Upload More Content button if the testing does not provide the required responses.

  8. When you are done testing the AI Agent, click the Proceed to Next Step button.

To test AI Agent in a standalone environment:

  1. In the Test your AI Agent step, select the Standalone tab.

  2. You can type queries and interact with the AI Agent to evaluate its efficiency and ensure that it correctly applies the configured settings and data sources.

  4. When you are done testing the AI Agent, click the Proceed to Next Step button.
