Creating a Case Base Author
Before you can work within the starter case base, you need to create an author who can manage the case base for the Virtual Assistant. This user needs to have the following roles:

Author
-
Knowledge Manager
You can assign these roles to the user creating and editing Virtual Assistants in the Prompts Console. This makes it easier for the user to manage the case base configurations from the Prompts Console. For details about creating users, see the eGain Administrator’s Guide to Administration Console.
