Guided Help
To configure guided help for portals:

In the Navigation Menu, browse to Publishing > Portals.

On the Portals page, select the portal for which you want to set up guided help.

On the Edit Portal page, go to the the Access Methods tab.

Navigate to the Guided Help section and set the following:

Enable Guided Help: By default, guided help is disabled. If you want to enable it, select Yes.
All the options in this section are enabled only when guided help is enabled.

Searchable Case Bases: Click the Add
button, and in the Searchable Case bases window select one of the following options:

All case ases are searchable using this portal: By default, this option is selected.

Only the case bases selected below are searchable using this portal: Click the Add
button, and add Case Bases from the list. Once finished, click Done.

Default Guided Help Profile: Assign a default guided help profile to the portal. A default profile must be assigned to the portal if guided help is enabled. For more information about guided help profiles, consult your administrator.

Enable Cluster Scope Diagnostics: Enable this option to display all clusters defined in the case base, and whether each cluster is activated or not. This is useful in troubleshooting the case base during development. By default this option is disabled. Select Yes to enable it.

Enable Control Action Diagnostics: Enable this option to display the control actions activated during the case base search. This is useful in troubleshooting the case base during development. By default this option is disabled. Select Yes to enable it.

Show In Result: This option determines the type of case base object to show at the end of a case base search. By default Article is selected. The available options are Article and Case.

Maximum Answered Questions: Specify the maximum number of answered questions to be displayed to the user. The default value is 10.

Maximum Not Answered Questions: Specify the maximum number of unanswered questions to be displayed to the user. The default value is 10.

Maximum Search Results: Specify the maximum number of search results to be displayed. The default value is 10.

On Search Success: Specify the behavior when a search succeeds. By default Automatically display results is selected. The available options are Do not automatically display results and Automatically display results.

Present Startup Questions Before Unanswered Questions: By default this option is enabled. Select No to disable it.

Show Additional Details For Search Results: This option determines if additional information should be displayed for case base objects such as questions. By default, this option is disabled. Select Yes to enable it.

Show Name Attribute In Search Result: Enable this option to display the value specified in the Name field of the question, instead of the value specified in the Text of question field. By default, this option is disabled. Select Yes to enable it.

Click the Save button.
