Configuring Article Sharing

When this setting is enabled for a portal, the Share button appears on the article page. Clicking the Share button allows the user to send an email containing the article content. 

To configure article sharing:
  1. In the Navigation Menu, browse to Publishing > Portals.

  2. On the Portals page, select the portal for which you want to configure article sharing.

  3. On the Edit Portal page, go to the More Options tab.

  4. Navigate to the Article Sharing section and set the following:

    • Enable Article Sharing: Select Yes to enable article sharing. Select No to disable article sharing. When disabled, the Share link is hidden on the article page.

    • From Address for Email: Enter the email address to use as the from address in the email sent when an article is shared. There is no default value for this field. A valid email address must be provided if the field is enabled.
