Instant Answers Source Articles
Report on the articles which have been used as the source of extractive or generative Instant Answers. The report uses a Portal parameter set and can be filtered by session type (for example, agent or customer) and content type (for example, the article body or an attached PDF). There are daily, weekly and monthly versions of the report which break down the data by article.
The report may be found under the following path: Reports > AI Reports > {interval}.
The report is based on the Instant Answers KB Sources model and includes the following columns:
Article
The article that was used as an Instant Answer or as a reference for an Instant Answer.
Article ID
The article ID that was used as an Instant Answer or as a reference for an Instant Answer.
Content Type
The type of content that was used as the source for an Instant Answer (For example, Knowledge article, a PDF stored in the KB).
Total
The total number of times that an article was used as a source for an Instant Answer during the interval, whether that answer was successful or failed to meet confidence threshold.
Success
The number of times that an article was used as a source for a successful Instant Answer during the interval.
Success Extracted
The number of times that an article was used as a source for a successful, extractive Instant Answer during the interval. Extractive answers consist of existing content that has been selected by the AI due to its semantic relevance to the search phrase.
Success Generated
The number of times that an article was used as a source for a successful, generative Instant Answer during the interval. A generative answer is a new response which the AI has created by adapting existing sources.
Failed
The number of times that an article was used as a source for an Instant Answer that did not meet confidence threshold during the interval.
Avg Score
The average answer score for each search for an Instant Answer during the interval.
