Deleting Tags
There may be times when a tag, tag group, or tag category is no longer necessary. These unused objects can be deleted from the Personalization folder to free up system resources or streamline tag management.
Tags, tag categories, and tag groups cannot be deleted while in use.
To delete a tag category:

From the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, select a department.

From the Navigation menu, browse to Personalization > Tag Categories.

On the List page, hover your mouse over the tag category you want to delete and click the Delete button.

A message appears asking to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the tag category.
To delete a tag:

From the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, select a department.

From the Navigation menu, browse to Personalization > Tag Categories.

On the List page, select a tag category.

Identify the tag you want to delete.

In the Actions column, click the Options button.

Select Delete from the menu.

You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the tag.
To delete a tag group:

From the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, select a department.

From the Navigation menu, browse to Personalization > Tag Categories.

From the Tag Group tab, identify the tag group you want to delete.

In the Actions column, click the Options button.

Select Delete from the menu.

You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the tag group.
Removing Tags from Groups
To remove tags from tag groups:

From the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, select a department.

From the Navigation menu, browse to Personalization > Tag Categories.

From the Tag Group tab, identify the tag group from where you want to remove the tags.

In the Actions column, click the Options button.

Select Edit from the menu. The Edit Tag Group window opens.

In the Tags sections, identify and hover your mouse over the tag you want to delete and click the Delete button.

Click the Save button.
