Archiving for Video Chat
Archiving is the process of storing chat transcripts as well as recordings of video chat sessions, including both audio and video streams. The archived streams are stored in the .mp4 format.
The recording of a session is uploaded to the cloud server immediately upon completion of the video chat session. Recordings cannot be longer than 90 minutes and must be in the .mp4 format.
In the event of an error, there is the option to store the video recordings for up to 72 hours as it retries uploading. For more information about this, consult your eGain administrator.
