Starting Internal Chats
You can start an internal chat with a single individual on your contact list or you can start a group chat with multiple users on your contact list.
Starting Individual Chats
To start an individual chat:

Click the Internal Chat tab.

Scroll down to the desired user or type the user's name in the Filter field.

Hover your cursor over the user's name and click the Start Chat button.
Starting Group Chats
To start a group chat:

Click the Internal Chat tab.

Click the check box next to all the users you wish to add to the chat. For a department wide bulletin, you can click the All Users box.

Mouse over one of the users' and click the Group Chat button.
Asking for Help in Chat
At any point while responding to a customer inquiry, you can ask for help in the internal chat. If a customer asks a question that requires the assistance of a subject matter expert, you can quickly get someone in the department to help you.
Use of the Ask feature requires the Create Message action. Consult your administrator for more information.
To ask for help in chat:

In the Reply pane, highlight the text for which you need help and right-click the highlighted text.

Click the Ask option.

A group chat is created with the selection copied into the text field.
