Creating a Confirmation Question for Medium Confidence Intent

Confirmation questions are used to gather more information from a customer if the Virtual Assistant is unsure of the customer’s intent. By presenting the customer with a Yes/ No option for a particular option, the Virtual Assistant can either direct the customer to that solution if Yes is selected, or remove it from the list of possible choices in the event of a No answer. 

To create the confirmation question:
  1. On the Case Base page, navigate to the desired cluster in the case base. For the savings account page push example, select the Medium Q001:[ML]Label, as you want to confirm that the customer wants to create a savings account. 

  2. In the Root Cluster pane, select the Questions tab.

  3. Click the New  button.

  4. In the Create Question pane, on the General tab, provide the following details:

    1. Text of Question: Are you looking to open a new savings account?

    2. Type: List

    3. Format: Radio button

    4. Answers: Yes, No

  5. Click the Save button.
