About AssistGPT

eGain AssistGPT is a comprehensive solution that helps customers find answers in their journey of knowledge creation. AssistGPT makes it easy to create knowledge content. This is achieved by using prompts to efficiently and quickly create content. Prompts are a set of instructions that generate responses from a language model. They act as instructions for the language model to generate content.

Prompts are visible to users in the Knowledge Console only if AI services have been enabled at the partition level in the Administration Console. For more information on enabling these services, see the Administration Console Help.

The application comes with a set of prompts that can be leveraged by users. You can also create additional prompts in the AI Console. For more information on creating custom prompts, see AI Console Help.

The application comes with the following prompts to be used in the Knowledge Console:

Generate Title: Use this template to generate a title for your article content.
Change Tone: Use this template to change the tone of the content.
Generate Summary: Use this template to generate a summary of your article and insert it into Metadata.
Improve Article: Use this template to enhance the readability of your current article.
Convert Text to Table: Use this template to convert selected text in the article content to a table.
Convert Table to Text: Use this template to convert a selected table in the article content to text.
Write an Article: Use this template to craft a structured and well-informed article based on the article title and key points.
Ask AI: Use this template to ask the AI to generate anything in the Knowledge Console.
Generate Keywords: Use this template to generate a comprehensive keyword list and insert it into Metadata.
Generate Meta Description: Use this template to generate descriptions of your article and insert them into Metadata.
