Creating List Questions
Once you save a list question, its type can only be changed to text question.
To create a list question:

In the Navigation menu, browse to Authoring > Case Bases.

In the List pane, select a Case Base and click on the Cluster.

In the List pane toolbar, from the Objects menu, select Questions, and click the New
button.

In the Properties pane, on the General tab, provide the following details:

Name: Type a name for the question. This is required information.

Text of question: Type the question. This is required information.

Type: From the drop down list, select List.

Answers: Either create answers, or you can use the answer sets created earlier. For details, see Creating Answers.

Visible: You can select if you want to show the question to the user or not. By default Yes is selected. Select No if you want to create a hidden question.

Make sure that startup questions are not made invisible.

Allow range answers: This option is disabled for list type questions.

Format: Select the format in which you want to present the answers. The options available are:

Check box

Drop down
-
Radio button

Multi select
You can base the selection of the format on two things:

The number of answers the question has: If the question has large number of answers, then you must use the drop down option instead of the radio button option, as it take less space to display the answers.

Multiple answers: If you want to give the user the option of selecting multiple answers, then you can use the multi select or check box option.

Circular matching: This option is disabled for list type questions.

Select Cluster: By default this field shows the name of the cluster in which you are creating the question. To change the cluster, click the Browse button, and from the Select Cluster window, select the cluster to which you want to move the question.

Next, go to the Match Behaviour tab and set the values for scoring the relavancy for the solution:

Select case as solution: From the drop down list, select the solution criteria.

From the drop down list, select the elimination criteria.

From the drop down list, select the answer matching criteria.

Set the match weight value.

The default value is 2.

Set the mismatch weight value.

Next, go to the Additional Information tab and provide the additional information. You can either use a pre-existing Knowledge article, or you can type the text in the Text section. Additional information is visible during the case base search and can be used to provide supplementary information to assist the users.
Note that any incorrect strings or strings that do not meet the security standards of the application are automatically removed from the Additional Information to prevent errors.

Next, go to the Additional Information tab and provide the additional information. You can either use a pre-existing Knowledge article, or you can type the text in the Text section. Additional information is visible during the case base search and can be used to provide supplementary information to assist the users.

Next, go to the Comments tab and add comments for your reference. This information is for internal use only, and does not show when a case base is searched.

Click the Save button.
The Details tab is displayed after you save the question.

Go to the Details tab. Here you can view the following information:

ID: The ID of the question.

Created By: The name of the user who created the question.

Created On: The date and time when the question was created.

Last Modified By: The name of the user who last modified the question.

Last Modified On: The date and time when the question was last modified
