Deleting Folders

You can delete a folder only if you have the necessary permissions to do so. When you delete a folder, all its contents and sub-folders are deleted automatically.

To delete a folder:
  1. In the Navigation Menu, browse to Authoring > Articles.

  2. From the Folders List, locate the folder you want to delete. Hover your cursor over the folder and click the Context Menu more button button. 

  3. From the dropdown menu, select Delete. 

    The Delete option is enabled only if you have the delete permission on the folder.

  4. A message appears asking to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the folder.

  5. A message appears notifying you about the deletion process. Click OK to continue.

  6. Once the folder is deleted, the Delete Folder Status window appears. Click the View Details button to see if the folder is deleted successfully. Click the Close button button to close the window.
