Turning Off Active Entry Points

Use this option to temporarily turn off all entry points for the department.

To turn off active entry points:

1. From the Navigation menu, browse to Apps > Chat & Messaging > Entry Points.

2. On the List page, click the Stop New Chats button. You are prompted to click Yes to turn off chat entry points and to ensure that no new chats are created in the department.

3. The Stop New Chats button is replaced with the Enable New Chats button, which indicates that all the active entry points are turned off.

4. Click the Enable New Chats button to turn on the entry points. All inactive entry points are turned on.
