Blocking Attachments
The following attachments can be blocked:

All incoming attachments
-
All incoming and outgoing attachments
-
Specific incoming attachments
-
Specific incoming and outgoing attachments
Outgoing attachments cannot be the only type of blocked attachments.
Blocking Specific Types of Attachments for Inbound Emails
To block specific types of attachments for inbound emails:

In Apps > Email > Blocked File Extensions, configure the file extensions you want to block.

In the Email settings, Email - Criteria for blocking attachments, select Inbound emails only.

In the Email settings, Block all attachments, select No.

In the Email settings, Action on blocked attachments, select Quarantine or Delete.
Blocking Specific Types of Attachments for Inbound and Outbound Emails
To block specific types of attachments for inbound and outbound emails:

In Apps > Email > Blocked File Extensions, configure the file extensions you want to block.

In the Email settings, Email - Criteria for blocking attachments, select Both inbound and outbound emails..

In the Email settings, Block all attachments, select No.

In the Email settings, Action on blocked attachments, select Quarantine or Delete.
Blocking All Types of Attachments for Inbound Emails
To block all types of attachments for inbound emails:

In Apps > Email > Blocked File Extensions, make sure you do not configure any file extensions. If you have configured some file extension for blocking, and in the Block all attachments setting you select Yes, then all attachments are blocked.

In the Email settings, Email - Criteria for blocking attachments, select Inbound emails only.

In the Email settings, Block all attachments, select Yes.

In the Email settings, Action on blocked attachments, select Quarantine or Delete.
Blocking All Types of Attachments for Inbound and Outbound Emails
To block all types of attachments for inbound and outbound emails:

In Apps > Email > Blocked File Extensions, make sure you do not configure any file extensions. If you have configured some file extension for blocking, and in the Block all attachments setting you select Yes, then all attachments are blocked.
