About Blocked File Extensions

Along with setting the file extensions for blocking, the following settings should be configured:

• Block all attachments

• Action on blocked attachments

Be aware that any file types that are blocked or allowed in the Attachments settings at the partition level supersede the blocked file extension rules set at the department level. For more information, see About File Attachments.
