Configuring Blocked File Extensions

To configure a blocked file extension:

  1. From the Navigation menu, browse to Apps > Email > Blocked File Extensions

  2. On the List page toolbar, click the New New Button button.

    You can create a maximum of 25 blocked file extensions in a department. 

  3. In the Properties pane, on the General tab, provide the following details.

    1. Name: Type a name for the blocked file extension.

    2. Blocked file extension: Type the file extension you want to block such as .exe, .vbs, .js.

    3. Description: Type a brief description.

  4. Click the Save  button.
