Deleting User Roles

Delete the user roles that are not needed anymore. Before deleting a role, make sure that it is not assigned to any user. The system does not check to see if the role is in use or not.

The system provided roles cannot be deleted. These roles are:

  • In the partition: Partition Administrator

  • In a department: Administrator, Agent, Agent (read only), Supervisor, Supervisor (read only), Author, Analyst, Offer Manager, Social Media Manager.

To delete a user role:
  1. Based on where you want to delete a user role, do one of the following:

    • If you are a partition administrator, from the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, go to the partition space.

    • If you are a department administrator, from the Partition and Departments dropdown menu, go to a department.

  2. In the Navigation menu, browse to Users > Roles.

  3. Identify the role you want to delete.

  4. In the Actions column, click the Options Options button button.  

  5. Select Delete from the menu.

  6. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the role.
