Offer Banners

About Offers

An offer banner consists of the text and images that make up an offer. Banners are based on templates which can be customized for specific offers. If the offer has been configured to use A/B testing (where one of two alternative banners is presented randomly to eligible customers) an offer will have two banners. Otherwise an offer will have a single banner.

Offer banners are imported into eGain Analytics from eGain servers in your installation. For more information about eGain offer banners, see the eGain Administrator's Guide to Offers Console.

Working with Offer Banners

In this release of eGain Analytics, offer banners imported from eGain are read-only.eGain Analytics supports the following actions for offer banners imported from eGain:

• Using offer banners in reports (see About Reports)

• Using the classic Resource Manager to view offer banner details and history (see About Resource Manager)

• Displaying offer banner details in the Resource Manager gadget grid, provided Show All is selected (see Resource Manager Gadget)

• Moving offer banners to a different location in the eGain Analytics folder structure, using either the classic Resource Manager (see Moving Resources) or the Resource Manager gadget.
