Deleting Topics

Things to note before deleting a topic:

1. If the topic that is being deleted is the only topic associated with a portal, it cannot be deleted.

2. If there is more than one topic associated with a portal and you are attempting to delete one of those, the topic gets deleted.

3. If a topic is associated with more than one portal and if in any of the portals it is the only associated topic, it cannot be deleted.

Upon deleting a topic, all subtopics are deleted.

To delete a topic:

1. In the Navigation Menu, browse to Publishing > Topics.

2. From the Topics List, navigate to the topic you want to delete and click the More  button.

3. From the dropdown menu, select the Delete option.

4. A message appears asking to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the topic.
