Moving a Report

This feature is only available to advanced mode users.

Parameter sets need to be in the same folder as the report or in the Home Folder of the user who is viewing the report. If a report has been saved with a parameter set in the same folder as the report, this parameter set can no longer be used with the report after the move unless the parameter set is also moved or happens to be in the Home Folder of the user who views the report. 

If neither of these conditions is met, the report can no longer run automatically and will behave as if parameters are not saved following the move.
 

To move a report:
  1. Perform one of the following:

    • If you are an Advanced Mode user, open the Tools Menu Tools menu, select Reporting > Reports, and navigate to the folder containing the report.

    • If you are a Standard Mode user, go to your Home Page and expand the heading for the folder containing the report.

  2. Select the check box beside the report or reports you want to move.

  3. Click Move. Alternatively, if you are already viewing the report, you can click the Edit button in the Report Toolbar to open the report properties and click the Move button in the Properties toolbar.

  4. Select a folder in the tree to move the report to (this must be a folder over which you have sufficient permissions).

  5. Click Save to commit the move, or click Back to cancel the move.
